Tiny tots and talented tweens worked the runway at The Stewart Hotel on March 26th  for Golden Magazine’s most anticipated event Runway for a Cause. The show helps support Cure Violence, whose mission is to reduce violence globally using disease control and behavior change methods.

According to Golden Magazine

A celebratory event for GOLDEN MAGAZINE current issue and to create an atmosphere in which children shine bright with confidence, creativity and light gracing the runway for a Cause.

Kid performers include Fatima, Alyssa Cheatam, and The Donaldson brothers aka Tristan & Avery.

I was entertained by Jaylin Fletcher, Ameenha Lee and Rory Anthony who hosted the show. Audience members were delighted by their fun banter with each other.

Ameenah wore a beautiful bold blue skirt from Sofistafunk. I totally fell in love with the boys fashion collections, from, Andy&Evan, Sean John and Isossy Children. Rory rocked a textured jacket from Sean John and Jaylin lit up the stage in a Anzel Paris gold track suit.

Each collection presented was heavily textured and eye catching. It was refreshing to see trendy, multi-layered children’s wear that captures the spirt and fashion sense of the wearer.

Sometimes kids want to dress “fancy”. That could mean wearing a sparkly totebag with jeans or a faux leather jacket.

Here is a full list of collections that were presented:
