Curlfest 2018 was the 5th annual natural beauty festival presented by the Curly Girl Collective. The festival is held at Prospect Park in Brooklyn, NYC.  This year, Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, Dapper Dan, Michaela Angela Davis, Ace Hood, Shelah Marie, bloggers, social influencers, stylists and fashionista joined the thousands of guests on a humid Saturday afternoon.

Upon arrival to the event I was in awe surrounded by of a sea of curls, coils, braids, dreadlocks, and afros. While the event is geared towards adults, children are invited to attend the event with their guardians. I was excited to photograph and meet the few curly cuties in attendance.
