1 in 3 homeless people in the U.S. is under the age of 18. Aeropostale has teamed up with Do something.org for the 6th annual Teens for Jeans campaigned. In 2012 more than 1 million pairs of jeans for people in need was collected for homeless children and their families. Schools, organizations and individuals can even host a drive at their locations. When schools sign up and register 5 volunteers they will receive a banner.
Schools can also enter to win the Grand Prize, report back the number of jeans you collected after you drop them off by February 24th 2013. The Grand prize is $10,000, Aéropostale hoodies with your school’s name on it, and a party.
For every pair of jeans donated to an Aeropostale or P.S. from Aeropostale location from November 14th -February 10th 2013 customers will receive a coupon for 25% off a pair of jeans. All jeans collected will be donated to a local charity or homeless shelter. Two people that donate jeans will be randomly selected to win a $500 scholarship from Fastweb.com
